to 2011.
for me, the new year doesn’t set in right away. i’m dating papers 1/__/12 but honestly nothing feels different. so it’s odd to sit here and look back on a year i still think i’m living.
i think about 2011 and suddenly, there’s an image of a glistening sun, shining bright on a cloudless day. i smiled and i laughed so much last year — more than what i can say for any other year. i discovered more about who i am, who i want to be. it sounds super cliche, but i think i’m finally starting to get used to life.
so here’s to 2011: a year that made me…happy.
